Tell us a bit about Cafler, how did the idea come about?
I started thinking about everything that people have in the palm of their hands, it was supposed to be ‘everything,’ but people were leaving out vehicle services and I realized that the automotive industry still had many unsatisfied needs and users.
I’ve always been passionate about how technology can help people and I come from a family of multiple generations of entrepreneurs in the auto industry. Everything came up together when I teamed up with Iñigo, a highly professional in the automotive industry who helped me develop the vision and we learned alongside our customers.
In what ways do you think Cafler can actively contribute to building a better future?
Our operating system technology is designed to make life easier for vehicle users, empowering local economies, and providing a robust foundation for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to thrive.
Our platform provides a one click away solution for everything a vehicle needs. Providing an intuitive and efficient experience, ultimately making the user life easier. By simplifying processes, we aim to give people more time to dedicate to what truly matters to them.
We contribute to the expansion and development of local economies. Through our technology, SMBs can optimize their operations, dedicating 100% of their resources, time, and effort to their core business activities. This contributes to the overall economic development of local communities. By enabling businesses to optimize, focus their resources effectively, and grow, we envision a future where companies can channel their energies into what they do best. This, we believe, is a key step towards building a better and more sustainable future for all.
What factors do you believe the VDS2023 jury took into account when granting Cafler the title of the winning startup in the Growth category?
First and foremost, Cafler stands out as a high-growth company, and having done so profitability. Our ability to navigate and flourish in a mature and exceptionally large market reflects our strategic acumen and operational prowess.
Through innovation and cutting-edge technology, Cafler has automated and streamlined vehicle services, making them more convenient. We have revolutionized the way vehicle services are delivered. In this sense, we are creating a new category with the potential of becoming a global champion in the auto industry.
As the winning startup of VDS2023’s international startup competition, to which more than 600 startups from 48 countries applied, you have been awarded an exhibition space for the VDS2024 edition, along with the accompanying networking and promotion opportunities offered by an esteemed international event like VDS. What does this mean for Cafler?
We are super proud of this achievement. The exposure provided by the exhibition space at VDS2024, and the networking and promotional opportunities, is a testament to the international recognition of Cafler. This platform opens up new horizons for us, allowing us to connect with a broader audience, including potential customers, talented professionals, and prospective investors on a global scale.

Participating in VDS2023 has been an enriching experience. The moment I heard that Cafler was announced as the winning startup I felt proud. It was an affirmation that our vision, dedication, and the efforts of our team were recognized and celebrated.
The opportunity to engage with professionals, investors, and entrepreneurs provided a dynamic platform for connections. Throughout VDS2023, we’ve held several meetings with investors, a couple possible team hires and a business partnership we will be announcing soon.
How would you assess the current state of the Valencian tech and innovation ecosystem? What are your expectations regarding the immediate future of Valencia as an international tech hub?
The technological and innovative ecosystem in Valencia has grown significantly in recent years, Valencia has the potential to become an international technological center since it has a solid talent base and a favorable infrastructure for technological development.
For us, Valencia holds an important position in our operations, serving as a key focal point in our strategy. Valencia is bridging the gap with Madrid and Barcelona, presenting a compelling evolution in its technological landscape. This accelerated convergence aligns with our presence in these major tech hubs, facilitating a cohesive network across these cities.
