Startup Valencia has entered into a collaboration agreement with Asindown. José Eugenio Vega, president of Asindown, and Nacho Mas, CEO of Startup Valencia, have formalized this collaboration with the signing of the agreement aimed at fostering inclusion and solidarity within the Valencian innovative and technological ecosystem

Asindown, an entity focused on enhancing the quality of life for all its users and their families throughout their lives, commits to excellence in its programs, innovation, and social impact. In contrast, Startup Valencia, the association of the innovative and technological ecosystem of the Valencian Community, have pledged to organize activities that promote business culture and facilitate the creation and consolidation of startups tailored to the needs of students with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities.

These actions are designed to increase visibility and promote the employment inclusion of this group, complemented by the involvement of Asindown staff in various programs, activities, and events of Startup Valencia, such as the seventh edition of VDS, to be held on October 23 and 24 at the City of Arts and Sciences

For Nacho Mas, this alliance represents “an excellent opportunity to include all the talent our ecosystem can attract and promote entrepreneurship without barriers, making it more accessible and with projects that transform people’s lives.”

According to Manuel Campos, manager of the Asindown Foundation, the collaboration signifies “a push towards a more inclusive technological ecosystem in Valencia, which will promote the labor and social inclusion through entrepreneurship tailored to the needs of people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities, charting a more accessible and equitable future.”
