Public entities supporting Startup Valencia.

Within the programs ‘Promotion of Entrepreneurship, Cooperatives and Social Economy 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, ‘Llamp Tech Transfer 2022 and 2023’ and within the framework of the ‘Strategic Plan of the Valencian Industry 2020’, the Valencian Association of Startups have received funding from the ‘Department of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism’.

In order to promote tech based entrepreneurship and add technology and innovation in the economic sectors of the city of Valencia via startups, Asociación Valenciana de Startups has received funding from Ayuntamiento de València in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

To reinforce the innovative ecosystem through fairs and events, the Valencian Startup Association has received funding in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 from the ‘Department of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism’.

Within the program ‘Proyectos de Dinamización Territorial (Dinamiza-CV) 2018, 2019 y 2020’, Asociación Valenciana de Startups has received funding from IVACE Generalitat Valenciana, as well as for the development of the VDS 2021.

Within the program ‘Fortalecimiento y Desarrollo del Sistema Valenciano de Innovación para la mejora del Modelo Productivo’, the Asociación Valenciana de Startups has received funding from the program ‘Acciones complementarias de impulso y fortalecimiento de la innovación’ by Agencia Valenciana de Innovación Generalitat Valenciana in 2018 for the project ‘Innovación Abierta con Startups’ and in 2021 and 2022 for the project ‘Tech Transfer para impulsar startups.’

Given the interest, objectives, and expected impact, the Unidad de Cohesión Territorial y Proyectos Europeos de la Diputación de València provides a specified grant for the organization of the VDS in its editions for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Startup Valencia has received a named grant of 75,000 euros from the Diputación de Valencia for the realization of the VDS 2023 activity and 50,000 euros for the editions of the same event in 2021 and 2022.

Co-founded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the Valencian Community 2014-2020, as part of the Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
