Startup Valencia is once again participating in one of the most significant global events in the tech sector: the 4YFN event of the Mobile World Congress, which is being held in Barcelona from the 27th of February to the 2nd of March.

Moreover, the Valencian ecosystem will also be represented by 11 other facilitator agents selected by VIT Emprende under the slogan ‘Time 4 Valencia‘ to connect with its target audience and showcase the potential of the Valencian entrepreneurial ecosystem.

At the stand promoted by the Valencia City Council, Startup Valencia will be joined by several entities, including BIGBAN Private Investors, Draper B1, Opentop (Valenciaport Foundation), GoHub Ventures, Ideas UPV, Innsomnia, Invest in VLC, KM Zero Food Innovation Hub, Lanzadera, Plug and Play Tech Center, and Zubi Group.

 

A leading role in the content programme

Members and collaborators of Startup Valencia also have a noteworthy presence in the 4YFN content programme. On Monday, the 27th of February, at the València Activa stand, Karina Virrueta, Head of Ecosystem Development at Startup Valencia, will take part in the round table ‘Time 4 Valencia 2023 Events‘, where she will present the sixth edition of Valencia Digital Summit, VDS2023.

The following day, the CEO of Startup Valencia, Nacho Mas, will moderate the panel ‘Valencian startups to follow in 2023‘ at the BStartup stand of Banco Sabadell. The panel will feature Iban Borràs, Product Manager at Sales Layer, María Luke, CEO and Co-Founder of Uelz, Mario Brassesco, Head of Strategy at Bit2Me, Ana González, Director of Strategic Partnerships at iPronics, and Stefano Scardia, CEO and Co-Founder of Colibid.

On Tuesday morning, Diego Moya, Chief of Growth at ClimateTrade and a member of the Board of Directors of Startup Valencia, will join Rubén Colomer, Investment Manager at GoHub Ventures, Cai Felip, CEO at Union Avatars, and Alex Tomás, CEO at Fracttal to emphasise Valencia as a gateway to LATAM and USA in the panel ‘Time 4 America‘.

Following this conversation, the Valencian ecosystem will have a dedicated moment in the round table ‘Time 4 VLC Ecosystem‘ in which the agents present at the València Activa stand will be able to showcase their activity.

Lastly, on Wednesday, the 1st of March, Karina Virrueta will moderate the panel ‘Time 4 VLC Top Startups‘, featuring Ana Karen Zapata, COO and Co-Founder of ClimateTrade, Leticia Gonzálbez, CMO at Sesame, and Ibán Borrás from Sales Layer.

That same morning, the ‘Time 4 VLC Startups‘ will take place at the València Activa stand, a pitch competition that will have Nacho Mas on the jury and Valencian startups pitching their ideas to compete for the first prize.

In addition, some Startup Valencia partners such as GoHub Ventures, BStartup, Plug and Play, Wayra and HP, and supporters such as Zubi Labs, Damm, DWF-RCD, Sesame, Opentop and OVHcloud will also participate in various meetings and presentations at 4YFN.

Among the members of Startup Valencia who are part of the content programme are the startups AllRead Machine Learning, Zeleros, Union Avatars, Bit2Me, Reental, Streaming, Sharing Away, and WITRAC, the global platform Social Nest Foundation, the incubator Star Startups, the tech school IronHack, and the initiative TRL+.
