Startup Valencia has attended, once again, 4YFN, the leading fair for startups held concurrently with the Mobile World Congress (MWC), focusing on Deep Tech and digital talent. The organization aimed to represent the Valencian startup ecosystem, which convened at this tech gathering from February 26 to February 29.

Furthermore, Startup Valencia’s presence aimed to showcase the business opportunities offered by the Valencian hub in the field of innovation and position it as a reference point in Southern Europe. VDS2024, the seventh edition of the international tech event, was also introduced, scheduled for October 23 and 24 at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.

The international projection of the ecosystem was highlighted by the visit to the Valencia Innovation Capital stand by a delegation from the Netherlands, led by Prince Constantijn van Orange. This meeting facilitated the establishment of relationships for future collaborations between the two ecosystems.

Representatives from Startup Valencia participated in numerous expert panels on the event’s agenda. Discussions about the Valencian innovation ecosystem were held by Karina Virrueta, Head of Innovation Ecosystem at Startup Valencia, with María Escartí, director of Invest in Valencia, and Ferran Pla, co-founder of CDTM Valencia. Virrueta also moderated the ‘Corporates & Startups: a win-win relationship‘ panel, featuring Javier Serrano, Director of Startup Business Development at Banco Santander; David Gastón, Software Engineering Section Manager at HP Spain, and Carmen López, Innovation Ecosystem and Scouting at Naturgy.
