With a degree in Law and a strong dedication to business development in the innovation ecosystem, could you provide some insights into Ángela Castelló?
It’s always so difficult to answer this kind of question! I would start by saying that I’m passionate about business: I find immense joy in nurturing growth and creating new collaborative opportunities. In fact, if there is one thing that defines me well, it is my energy and vitality. I like to surround myself with intelligent people and above all, good-hearted people. I take great pleasure in my work and everything I am involved in.
What will be your role at Startup Valencia?
I am joining Startup Valencia to oversee partnership development. In an association like Startup Valencia, where we generate opportunities and collaborate with a diverse business network, creating alliances and relationships with various companies, institutions, and organizations is crucial for our continued growth and the enhancement of our ecosystem. My primary responsibility is to cultivate these alliances and drive the association’s expansion.
What led you to get involved in this area of Startup Valencia?
My involvement in this area of Startup Valencia stems from my genuine belief in the association’s purpose and values, which I have held even prior to joining the team. It feels like a natural progression for me to be fully engaged with the association, and I believe that my participation has come at an opportune moment for Valencia.
How do you think your experience and background adds to Startup Valencia and your skills as Head of Partnerships?
My career has been mainly focused on the development of B2B relationships, in particular, promoting the development and international expansion of my family business. I believe that what every company is looking for are stable and reliable partners with whom to grow its business and that is where a figure like mine comes in. In having the vision and confidence to be the right partner.
What challenge are you most looking forward to?
A lot of work has been done beforehand. In many cases, I am reaping what has been sown in the Association for 6 years. For my part, I am taking on the challenge of continuing to grow what we already have, but above all, to bring new things that once again add value to the ecosystem.
What are your objectives?
The purpose of Startup Valencia is clear, to position the Valencia region as one of the most important technology hubs in the world.
This is obviously not the work of just one person, but of many. For my part, I will do everything I can from partnerships to contribute to this undertaking, surrounding ourselves with the great companies that we have not only in the Valencian Community, but throughout the country.
