Artificial Intelligence (AI) has made a significant impact on various aspects of life and the economy, including the Valencian startup ecosystem. According to the Startup Observatory of the Valencian Community, compiled by Startup Valencia, over 20% of startups operate with this technology. Specifically, 20.71% of Valencian firms develop solutions using AI.

Across different sectors, numerous industries have integrated artificial intelligence into their products and internal organization.

Health

In the Valencian ecosystem, the health sector is one of the most prolific in generating solutions and applications with AI. This technology allows for the analysis of results and tests, predicting ailments or patient reactions, and even making consultations more efficient.

For instance, Blautic develops AI models that enable real-time monitoring of signal quality, providing clients with highly valuable information. Quibim predicts patient progress or responses to specific treatments through AI models, while Rosita Longevity utilizes AI to analyze and measure user progress, customizing and selecting appropriate programs.

Education

The education sector was one of the early adopters of generative AI, presenting challenges in both teaching and student perspectives.

Valencian entrepreneur Clara Torrijos has established two startups where AI operates in both directions of education. Koanly offers AI solutions for teachers to enhance student learning, while GoKoan utilizes AI to create a more efficient study method. Another example is HechicerIA, which enables video creation from text.

Energy and Industry

The revolution brought about by the Industry 4.0 has already hinted at the impact that emerging technologies would have on industrial production, leading to more efficient, secure, and sustainable processes. We can say that this is one of the areas where Artificial Intelligence is most firmly established. According to the AI Index report, an independent initiative of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), 10% of companies in the industrial sector have already adopted this technology.

In our ecosystem, startups like Olocip transform data into strategic assets, improving business process efficiency and reducing uncertainty in decision-making. Sinfiny provides global engineering solutions focused on developing production lines with advanced machinery, robotic systems, AGVs, and complementary elements, connecting with internal management systems.

Human Resources

The data processing capabilities offered by AI have become allies in personnel selection and talent promotion within companies.

Valencian company Fresh People develops AI-based tools to simplify and enhance team management. Sesame utilizes this technology for task resolution and knowledge promotion to influence personnel direction.

Startups like Worksible or Yeeply employ AI to improve the profile search process and find the ideal candidate for a selection process.

Finance and Insurance

AI enables the detection of fraudulent operations, identification of economic trends, and prediction of future scenarios. These possibilities prove useful in sectors like finance and insurance, providing companies the ability to anticipate predictions and offer personalized products to clients.

Solver IA uses AI to predict future scenarios in companies and improve decision-making. Valencian startups such as Uelz, automating collections, or Fundattio, automating financing acquisition processes, contribute to better financial management.

These are just a few sectors within the Valencian startup ecosystem where AI is transforming products, services, and business practices. In the near future, there won’t be any productive sector untouched by this technology. As has been predicted, artificial intelligence is poised to change the world as we know it.
