The Automotive and Mobility Cluster of the Valencia Region (AVIA) and Startup Valencia have reached an agreement to organise Mobility Innovation Valencia 2023, which will take place as part of Valencia Digital Summit (VDS2023). Set to be hosted on the 26th and 27th of October at the iconic City of Arts and Sciences, this sixth edition of the tech event promises to turn the city once again into the global epicentre of innovation, tackle pressing issues such as sustainable mobility, and draw over 10,000 attendees from more than 80 different countries.

The collaboration between the two entities has a solid foundation, having previously worked together through Startup Valencia’s Mobility Hub to promote the growth of sustainable mobility. Building upon this successful partnership, they now aim to take it to the next level by creating even stronger synergies and connections between the Valencian automotive industry and startups in the mobility sector.

At VDS2023, AVIA members will gain exclusive access to a dedicated physical space, enabling them to engage in various activities, showcase their projects, and generate business opportunities in the field of mobility over the course of the two-day tech event.

According to Francisco Segura, the President of AVIA, “This joint celebration brings together the knowledge and strength of the well-established automotive and mobility companies of the Valencian Region with the agility and disruptive ideas of startups: it’s a win-win for all parties involved”. He also added that,We hope that this joint edition will exceed the expectations of both entities and, more importantly, serve as a catalyst for future projects. The vision of AVIA, along with the innovative mobility ecosystem they have built through the MIV (Mobility Innovation Hub), is to support companies in their digital transformation and facilitate the development of new products or services in the field of sustainable and intelligent mobility“.

Juan Luis Hortelano, the President of Startup Valencia, emphasised the significance of showcasing the unity and cross-cutting nature of the mobility sector in our ecosystem. “Our startups, in harmony with all mobility sector stakeholders, provide comprehensive and sustainable solutions to tackle the future challenges of mobility. Thanks to this agreement between AVIA and Startup Valencia, these innovative and technology-driven companies will gain international exposure during VDS2023, opening doors to new business opportunities that will help them scale their projects“, he pointed out.
