Startup Valencia and GSIC Testing Lab have signed a collaboration agreement to drive innovation, business development and the international projection of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The alliance will promote joint initiatives aimed at startups, entrepreneurs and institutions from both environments, with the objective of generating new growth, connection and international visibility opportunities.

Through this agreement, both organisations will work in a coordinated manner to strengthen their ecosystems through knowledge exchange, the activation of investment opportunities and the development of projects with the capacity to attract talent, technology and business initiatives to Valencia.

The collaboration is structured around several lines of action. Among them, the promotion of talent mobility between the ecosystems of Startup Valencia and GSIC Testing Lab stands out, favouring the connection between entrepreneurs, experts, corporations, investors and institutions linked to both fields.

Likewise, both entities will launch joint actions to reinforce their international projection, especially within the framework of reference events such as VDS and the GSIC Summit. These spaces will serve to present validated technological solutions, promote sectoral delegations and facilitate high-value connections between companies, investors and institutions.

The agreement also includes shared access to technological infrastructures, incubators, innovation laboratories, research centres and collaborative workspaces, both in Valencia and in other European ecosystems. The objective is to accelerate the development of new technological solutions and favour the creation of business projects with international scale capacity.

The signing of the agreement was attended by Nacho Mas, CEO of Startup Valencia and VDS, Iris Córdoba, Director General of GSIC powered by Microsoft, and Juan Fuentes, Director of GSIC Testing Lab Valencia, together with Krloos Rivera, Strategic Advisor and Special Envoy of Startup Valencia.

For Nacho Mas, this agreement represents a new step forward in the strategy of connecting the Valencian entrepreneurial ecosystem with international innovation networks. “This alliance allows us to open new avenues of collaboration to attract talent, investment and high-potential projects to Valencia, while reinforcing its positioning as one of the most dynamic technological and entrepreneurial hubs in Europe”, he stated.

For her part, Iris Córdoba, Director General of GSIC powered by Microsoft, stated: “at GSIC we work to connect local sportstech ecosystems with global opportunities. This agreement with Startup Valencia reinforces our commitment to Valencia and the Valencian Community as an international hub for sports innovation, creating new opportunities for collaboration, innovation and market access for companies in the sector”.
