At Startup Valencia, we are committed to expanding Valencia’s innovative and technological ecosystem internationally. Our goal is to establish and strengthen relationships with key European ecosystems, funds, and institutions that can contribute to the growth and development of our startups.
To achieve this, we have set a series of objectives:
Connect with innovation hubs in Europe, creating a collaborative network with the continent’s leading innovation centers. This network will facilitate the constant exchange of ideas, resources, and opportunities, fostering an environment of mutual growth.
Establish strategic alliances with European and international funds that can offer financial support and mentorship to our startups. These alliances are crucial in providing our emerging companies with the capital and knowledge necessary for their development and expansion.
Foster relationships with public and private institutions. These collaborations enable the implementation of joint initiatives that promote innovation and technological advancement in our region.

Recently, we took a significant step in this direction with a series of meetings in Munich, one of Europe’s most vibrant innovation ecosystems. Nacho Mas, CEO of Startup Valencia, and Krloos Rivera, the entity’s strategic advisor, visited several key institutions to strengthen these ties and met with prominent figures in the innovation and entrepreneurship sectors.
Notable meetings included those with Stefanie Heuer, board member of Nature Re Capital AG; Thomas Röhl, head of Partnership and Future Projects at BMW Foundation; Marisa Schneider, manager of International Partnerships at UnternehmerTUM; Vera Eger from the Management Team, and Jörg Claussen, board member of CDTM Munich, as well as Ursula Triebswetter, Sachgebietsleiterin Grundlagen der Wirtschaftspolitik der Landeshauptstadt München. Additionally, they visited the City of Munich and Munich Urban Colab.

These meetings have been highly productive, allowing us to establish a solid foundation for future collaborations. Through these interactions, we have not only strengthened the international presence of the Valencian tech ecosystem but also opened new doors for Valencian startups, providing them access to a wide range of resources and opportunities in the European market.
At Startup Valencia, we continue to work tirelessly to position Valencia as a global benchmark for innovation and technology. We will keep forging strategic alliances and fostering collaborations that drive the growth and development of our entrepreneurial ecosystem.
