Be part of the Startup Valencia community made up of 48,000+ professionals

The main associations of the startup ecosystem of the Valencian Community have signed the preliminary agreement to formally establish the Comunitat Startup federation, with the aim of articulating a single and representative voice for the technology and entrepreneurial sector at regional level.

The event received institutional backing from the president of the Valencian Community Business Confederation (CEV), Vicente Lafuente, as well as from the provincial presidents of the CEV in Alicante, Castellón and Valencia, and the regional secretary for Innovation of the Valencian Regional Government, Eduardo Pascual.

Vicente Lafuente stated that the federation “will help strengthen the competitiveness of the Valencian Community”, aligning the startup ecosystem with the broader business fabric and enabling more effective dialogue with public institutions.

The future federation will be made up of Startup Valencia, Alicantec and Xarxatec, the reference associations in each of the three provinces, which together represent more than 550 companies from the technology and innovation sector.

For his part, Eduardo Pascual highlighted that “having a unified voice for the startup sector will make it possible to design public policies that are better aligned” with the reality of an ecosystem that is already a driver of employment, technological innovation and economic growth.

The Valencian ecosystem, according to data from the Valencian Community Startup Observatory, exceeds 1,680 active startups, generates more than 21,400 direct jobs and has attracted over €200 million in investment in 2025, consolidating its position as one of the country’s leading technological innovation hubs.

From the Comunitat Startup federation, the founding associations stressed that the initiative “is born to coordinate efforts, strengthen the sector’s capacity for dialogue and position the Valencian Community as a national and international benchmark in technological entrepreneurship”.
