Google for Startups
Description

Google’s startup programme was launched in 2011 and now has more than 50 coworking spaces and accelerators in 125 countries.

Its goal is to help startups solve their challenges by connecting them with the people, products and best practices to help them thrive and grow. They do this through their programmes, their six Google for Startups campuses and their global network of leading startup organisations.

Their campuses around the world give startups access to workspaces, events, programmes and a diverse community of entrepreneurs. They also run intensive workshops and mentorships to help growth-stage startups learn technical, product and leadership best practices.

Currently, through their programme they have contributed to:

• Creating more than 130,000 jobs through Google for Startups Campus startups and partner communities.
• Securing more than €7.6 billion in funding in 2020.
• Having women lead 25% of their funded startups, a percentage they are actively working to increase.
