Kaltu lets marketplaces pay their vendors through a no-code web interface without the need to change their existing payment infrastructure.

When it comes time to pay money out to their vendors, marketplaces have several headaches; reconciling money-in with money-out for each vendor, managing different currencies, and above all, being compliant with new European regulations which require them to hold a money license.

Marketplaces can use the Kaltu web interface to view money coming in and out, onboard and manage vendors and make payments. Payments to vendors can be ad-hoc, requested by the vendor, or recurring payments that can be automated based on various business rules.

Kaltu is not a payment gateway. We focus only on the payout, which means the money-in can come from any source (e.g. Stripe, Paypal, Bank transfer). We take data from the APIs of payment providers, ecommerce platforms and banks to calculate the amount due to each vendor.

Marketplaces using Kaltu can now do payouts without needing a developer team and while removing repetitive, non-value adding tasks from the accountancy team.
